Office and industrial security have been plagued for years by a singular failure – it was reactive, not proactive.
Watching someone commit a crime on your property doesn’t do you much good. Even if you catch the person, which isn’t easy because you don’t always get a good look at them, you still have to deal with the costs of whatever they did. That could be trash, human waste, graffiti, broken doors, damaged merchandise – all sorts of disheartening circumstances.
But reactive industrial security, which includes drive by patrols, dumb security cameras, and alarm systems aren’t working. Why? Because they all only swing into action after a crime has been committed.

The Answer – an Automated Detection System

Bandit Systems developed a hardware-software application called Instructor, which is patent pending. It takes information from video surveillance cameras and a network of sensors placed around a property, compiles it, and alerts the remote guard if someone is trespassing.
Sensor types can be customized to the property and can include motion, heat, laser lines, infrared photobeams, radar, and vibration detectors.
The software itself can also operate the cameras and turn them toward the action, automating the task thereby making guard reaction times faster and allowing them to focus on what’s happening.
Bandit calls this service the RealTime Remote Guard Service. It is an AI video surveillance system blending human engagement with a network of sensors and proprietary software.
