Installation Terms and Conditions

 
 

When approving an installation, proposal, quote, or estimate provided by Bandit Systems, Inc, the approving authority authorizing the work also agrees to the following terms and conditions:

This Installation and Equipment Agreement (“Agreement”) pertains to the installation of hardware by Bandit Systems at the address listed on the quote (“Property”). A separate agreement will be executed for any monitoring, maintenance or support services (e.g. RealTime Service, Maintenance & Support Plan, etc.). By their signatures below, “Customer” and Bandit Systems hereby agree as follows:

Terms 

  • A deposit equal to 50% of the “Installation Amount” is due from Customer to Bandit Systems at signing of this Agreement. The Installation Amount is fixed based on the system specifications and pricing assumptions listed in the System Proposal. Any alterations or deviations from such specifications or assumptions will result in an adjustment to the Installation Amount. All alterations to system specifications must be agreed to in writing.

  • 95% of the Installation Amount is due upon completed hardware installation. The remaining 5% of the Installation Amount is due at full system functionality or 30 days after completed hardware installation, whichever is sooner. Lease payments, if the lease option is selected, commence upon completion of hardware installation. 

  • In the event of project cancellation by Customer, a 10% return fee will be assessed to Customer for all ordered and returnable equipment, plus any manufacturer restocking fees. Customer will be charged the entire amount of all non-returnable equipment. Customer will also be charged for any labor performed prior to cancellation.  

  • This Agreement covers only the labor to install the specified hardware and does not include any labor required because of unforeseen circumstances or hidden conditions such as construction not performed in conformance with California Building Code. Bandit Systems is not responsible for damage to rotten, rusted, or otherwise previously compromised materials on the Property that may occur using standard installation practices.

  • System administrative credentials will be transferred to the Customer after final payment has been received. 

  • Bandit Systems warranties installation of installed systems for 10 years from installation. This warranty covers only the labor required to return the system to operational status. This warranty does not cover problems arising from: (i) unauthorized access or tampering by a party other than Bandit Systems, (ii) abuse, (iii) neglect, (iv) vandalism, (v) force majeure or (v) hardware (which is warranted solely by its manufacturer).

  • Overdue balances will be charged a 1.5% monthly fee. Failure to make payments when due may result is system deactivation and/or repossession by Bandit Systems. Customer will be liable for all costs and fees incurred in collecting overdue balances and repossessing equipment, including reasonable attorneys’ fees associated therewith. The prevailing party in any proceeding or suit to enforce the terms of this Agreement is entitled to, on demand, all attorneys’ fees and other costs incurred, together with interest from the date of demand until paid.

  • This proposal contains proprietary information that shall not be disclosed to any third party.

    Additional Terms For Remote Guard Service proposals

  • If Customer fails to either (i) sign a Security Service Agreement with Bandit Systems within 30 days of completed hardware installation or (ii) start service and pay the required monthly service fee to Bandit Systems for the 36 months immediately following completed hardware installation, Customer agrees to pay Bandit Systems 25% of the total contract amount for a 36-month Security Service Agreement at the rate selected in the System Proposal. Customer and Bandit Systems agree this amount is a reasonable estimate of the discount provided by Bandit Systems to Customer pursuant to this Agreement.

  • All existing doors, gates, and fences are functional

  • For leases: customer agrees that a failure to complete selected service and lease term payments may result in the hardware lease changing to a hardware purchase with the remaining balance of the hardware becoming due immediately.
